This is a new release with support for statistics through authentication.   You need to grant access to this gadget in order to view and record links into your Google account.   You only need to do this once.

It was designed to fit any opensocial container, such as iGoogle dashboard, Blogger, Orkut, etc.  You can also generate HTML code to insert into your blog or web site.
